Did you know that you can use your breath as an anchor? Meditation may come to mind. But we can also utilize our breath when we find ourselves in triggering situations. I did this very thing two days ago. In and out. Sometimes you could even hear me! In and out. But it helped. I stayed remarkably calmer. But hey, don’t just take my word for it. The next time you feel you’re about to be swept away, aim to anchor yourself in your body. In your breath.
